Hometown: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
What are your career goals?
I’m working towards a PhD in Psychology, either in child development, education or criminal — I haven’t decided yet!
What are you involved in at Mizzou?
Kappa Alpha Theta!!! I’m also a CIRCA (Cherng Interdisciplinary Research in Contemporary Affairs) scholar which is a pioneer program at Mizzou this year.
What are you involved in outside of Mizzou?
I’m a model for the Stephens College fashion group, modeling in a senior collection. I volunteer at Russell elementary with the world’s best 5th graders. I also recently started volunteering at the Central Missouri Humane Society.
What are you passionate about?
Animals, mental health, and creating.
Why was Theta the right fit for you?
I joined Theta for the chance to work with a philanthropy and local organization that I’m incredibly passionate about. I’ve worked with kids my entire life and having the chance to volunteer with the Russell students makes my week, every week!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to create whenever I possibly can. Knitting, thrifting, sewing, writing, and most recently I’ve been super into photography! If I’m not doing something creative, I try to be outside whenever I can — hiking, rock climbing, or even just hanging out in the sun shine is my favorite place to be.
